From Bali Island to Ijen Crater Tour

Bali Ijen Crater Tour is a special journey trip for crater sulfur blue flame from Kuta Hotel. It takes us overland by private air-con car passing through the Bali Java strait. This strait is separated into two islands between Banyuwangi on the north side (East Java). And Bali Island on the eastern side. Thus, the Bali Strait is connected by ferry boat at Gili Manuk Harbor and Ketapang Harbor in Banyuwangi.

It is a very busy ferry port between Banyuwangi and Bali. Hence, the journey Bali Ijen crater tour will begin at 17.00 from the Bali hotel. We then drive to Gili Manuk Bali harbor for about 2,5 hours (it depends on traffic). Because we have to be at Banyuwangi by midnight (00.00). Also, we need a little break at the local resto for hot tea/coffee and snacks. It takes us a 1-hour drive to Ijen. Another hand. We are NOT allowed to walk before 00.00.

Bali Ijen Crater Tour Feedback

Thanks for your help in organizing the Bali Ijen crater tour – everything ran very smoothly, and it was great to see crater sulfur sparkles. Our guide, Mario was great – although there was confusion over whether he was supposed to climb with us or whether we would be meeting a local guide for the climb. We were under the impression there would be a local guide showing us the best places on Ijen blue fire sparkles and sunrise watching. Luckily there were lots of tourists climbing so we followed their lead. Thanks again, Chloe.
